I have been passionate about HR and its value since my early career establishing and leading UK and European HR functions. Then, as a consultant and coach for over 25 years, I developed leaders and managers in some of the world’s leading organisations, such as General Electric, Diageo and Vodafone.

In 2016, George Naylor and I researched what makes great HR. We have created a unique framework of seven enablers and an evaluation tool. As chief executive of Enable-HR International, I enable the HR function to become more strategic and business savvy in its approach, activities and behaviours.

About me

Since 1994, I have helped organisations to deliver stronger results through challenging, supporting and re-focusing their leaders and managers. My experience in leadership and management development covers many sectors, functions, and regions.

Previously, I have led European HR teams in the IT and pharmaceutical industries, and more recently have specialised in effectiveness in HR.

I’ve researched what businesses need from HR and that is how my company, Enable-HR, was born.  My team enable HR functions to deliver maximum through the quality of their relationships with leaders and managers in the organisation.

My experience of working with global organisations as well as smaller businesses produces an effective combination of world-class material, insight, and methodologies, together with a sharp focus on business priorities and skilled facilitation.
